“My experience with HANSVOS as a sanitation advocate has helped me become aware that access to sanitation and a clean environment is not just for aesthetics but a human right especially among vulnerable groups. It is crucial for the socio-economic development of a country”.
Oluwabanke, a student of Clear Brook High and a HANCON Volunteer who worked in the summer of 2022 under a water, sanitation and hygiene volunteer scheme at the HANCON Office, shares her experience in a community engagement and sanitation promotion project to prevent the outbreak of the disease in the community she grew up in.
“I feel more knowledgeable in the issues facing developing countries and self-aware of the need for a united action to curb this menace”

My experience in HANSVOS has also helped with my personal development. I feel more confident working with colleagues and other professionals. I also look forward to a career in Engineering and be able to contribute to researching and developing renewable sources of energy.
